I've yet to see one video of wet or dry food from major pet food manufacturers show HOW its made. In my opinion, and you probably disagree, but I am highly skeptical of the pet food industry particularly since they are so secretive about how it's made.
But if Hill's doesn't work for you or it's too expensive for you, you could ask your vet what makes it good instead, or what brands are comparable. I don't even want people to hear 'it's a conflict of interest' and never buy Hill's. I'm not out here saying that vets are bought. So the pharmaceutical company could abuse that trust, for instance. It's not that the doctors chuckled evilly as they pocketed their cash, it's that they established a trusting relationship with the pharmaceutical company based on those relationships that was based on those relationships, not on cold, hard facts. Same with the doctor/pharma rep relationships. They have a personal relationship with the brand. It only means that the vet offices that do sell it might have a bias. Like an attorney recusing themselves because they know a party involved in a case personally. It doesn't actually mean ill intent, or trickery, or evil, just that there's a relationship that can cause bias. Yes, but you do understand that recommending it across the board for healthy animals when they have a selling relationship with the brand is a conflict of interest, right?Ī conflict of interest only means that there's a conflict of interest.
